What company/organization did you work for before Fuqua and what was your role?
Before Fuqua I worked at Deloitte as a consultant in Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions.
Why did you choose Fuqua?
I chose Fuqua because of the “Team Fuqua” community, exciting opportunities in healthcare through their HSM program, and their commitment to experiential learning, ranging from DUHELP to FCCP.
Why did you decide to pursue the HSM Certificate?
I decided to pursue the Health Sector Management (HSM) Certificate because of my passion for healthcare and my desire to make a meaningful impact in this rapidly evolving field. My professional journey has already spanned multiple areas of healthcare—from biomedical engineering to healthcare supply chain, and most recently, healthcare M&A consulting—but I’ve realized I want to work more directly on projects that have a tangible impact on patients.
The HSM Certificate is the perfect fit for me because it offers specialized coursework, experiential learning, and access to a strong network of amazing professors with industry experience and healthcare professionals.
What has been your favorite health care course or experience at Fuqua?
So far, my favorite health care course has been HSM Bootcamp! It was a great way to meet others in HSM, and get a comprehensive view of how healthcare operates today.
